Volunteer Urgently Needed!

SUVCW Department of Maine urgently seeks to identify a volunteer able to serve as a public relations and social media coordinator.

Our ideal candidate would:

• Broaden & strengthen the Department’s social media presence on Facebook, YouTube, and other platforms;
• Have basic experience in photography, videography, and writing;
• Submit content to the Department’s Website Resources Coordinator where applicable;
• Submit content to The Banner where applicable;
• Have a strong general interest in history, perhaps with a specific interest in the Civil War period;
• Contribute time and talents to our 501(c)(e) organization.

Two upcoming events – the Department Encampment on June 17th and the Fort Knox Civil War Days in July – would provide an excellent opportunity to become familiar with the SUVCW Department of Maine and the specific work of this position.
