Obituary

Arrowsic—John W. Warner, Jr. age 80 died Tuesday January 27, 2009 at a Brunswick local hospital.

He was born in Bath, ME October 15, 1928 the son of John W. and Ethel Warner. He attended Bath schools. He married Doris E. Kelly in Bath in 1972.

Leaving school early to support his family, he worked in construction and at the Varney Mill. He later retired after 39 years at BIW. He served as past Commander of Camp 46, Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, Bath.

He was an avid New England sports fan, especially loyal to the Boston Red Sox. All of his life he had a great love animals.

He is predeceased by a brother Maurice Warner; four sisters, Priscilla Wood, Althea Chandler, Barbara Rideout, Marion Reeder.

He is survived by his wife, Doris; his son, John Warner, III and his wife Linda of Arrowsic; a sister Shirley Osborne of Bath.

Burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Bath, Sagadahoc, Maine
