Obituary

Webb Services Wednesday

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bridgton fro Frank A. Webb, 73, who died Sunday in a local hospital after a long illness.

He was born Oct. 2, 1873, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Isaiah s. Webb, at North Bridgton.  An optometrist, he was for many years active in Bridgton political circles serving as treasurer and tax collector of 37 years until the town adopted a town manager form of government.

He was a charter member of the Bridgton Chapter, OES, secretary of the Bridgton Chapter of Moose, past commander of the Maine Department of Sons of union Veterans, a member of the Blue Lodge of Masons, Chapter, Commandery, and Shrine, and a treasurer of the First Congregational Church of Bridgton.

He is survived by a son, Isaiah S., South Portland, and a daughter, Mrs. Brooks Eastman, Portland.

Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery, Bridgton.
